Product Description

The Trontek Powercube 1.4 is a residential energy storage system that acts as a power source, stores excess electricity generation, helps go off-grid, lowers power cost, minimises power loss, fulfils peak power demand and improves the home power network. Connect it to an existing photovoltaic system or install a new one with a hybrid inverter to become energy independent. The built-in intelligent BMS protects and monitors the lithium pack for prolonged cyclic life. Trontek is an established Indian battery manufacturer with 1 GWh production capacity, in-house R&D and testing.

Q: Will this work with my existing inverter?
A: Yes, if your inverter supports lithium (LFP) batteries with a 12V battery input and a 14.6V charging voltage. Most modern hybrid and "lithium-ready" inverters do. Older lead-acid-only inverters are also compatible if they are using 12V lead acid batteries.
Q: How is this different from a lead-acid / tubular inverter battery?
A: LFP delivers 4000+ cycles versus roughly 800–1200 for tubular, 80–100% usable depth of discharge versus about 50%, around one-third the weight, no water topping, no acid fumes and faster charging. Upfront cost is higher; cost per cycle is lower.
Q: How long will it run my home?
A: The battery stores 1.344 kWh. Divide by your load. Example: 300 W of fans, lights and Wi-Fi runs for about 4 hours at ~90% usable capacity. Refer to calculator on website
Q: Does it need maintenance?
A: No. There is no water topping, terminal cleaning or venting. The built-in BMS handles balancing and protection.
Q: Is it safe to use indoors?
A: Yes. LFP is the most thermally stable lithium chemistry and the BMS protects against over-charge, over-discharge, over-current, short-circuit and over-temperature. The unit is IP20, so install indoors in a ventilated spot away from water.
Q: Can I add a second battery later?
A: packs must be the same model and firmware. Never mix with lead-acid or other lithium brands.
Q: What is the warranty and expected life?
A: Design life of 12 years at 35°C and more than 4000 cycles at 80% DOD. Warranty period 5 years or 4000 cycles whichever is earlier
Q: What happens to the battery at end of life?
A: It is recyclable. Return it through the seller's take-back programme under the Battery Waste Management Rules, 2022. Never dispose of it in household waste.
Warranty, installation & service

Installation is not included in this product’s price. If you would like a certified iTarang technician to install and commission it, our support team can arrange a visit from the network covering your pincode.

This product carries a warranty of 5 years or 4000 cycles, whichever is earlier from the date of installation. The written terms ship with the product and are also available from support. Keep your invoice and the serial number on the unit.

Service requests are raised in the Owner Centre. You receive a reference number and a technician is assigned from the network covering your pincode.
